Episode 5: Book Twins | Interview with Eden from @ponchospages

On this week's dose of book recommendations, library love, and literary enthusiasm, I get to introduce you to my book twin, Eden from @PonchosPages on Instagram. Join us for lots of love for middle grade, classics, and non-fiction. We are both sensitive readers who appreciate good dialog, well-developed characters, and stories that make us think or learn something. This is part one of two!

Books from today's show (bookshop.org affiliate link) the list is quite extensive so you definitely need to check this one out!

I am overjoyed about bringing this episode of the podcast to you. So far the show has been just me talking, so it was fun to be able to finally do an interview. Eden and I met on bookstagram (books + Instagram) and soon got to comparing notes on some of our favorite books. It quickly became evident that our reading tastes are similar and we also have a knack for reading the same books near the same time by accident. This is not just new releases either! For example, we both read At Home in Mitford in March, which was published in the early 2000's. Also, while we have messaged by and forth many times, this was the first time Eden and I have spoken to each other. That didn't bother us though, we proceeded to chat like girls for over half an hour. Today's episode is the first part of that conversation.

While I am allergic to cats, I do very much enjoy book cats I meet on instagram. Eden's two beautiful kitties are no exception. May I introduce you to Poncho and Romulus!

With lots of literary love from my library to yours, have a wonderful day!
